Very good condition with only minor signs of external wear. Text-block edges dust-toned with age. Interiors bright and clean. Damp staining to Vol.XLIII. only / Subtle stamp “Withdrawn from of The Alpine Club Library” on preliminary leafs of volumes.

In 1852, the American Geographical Society began publishing its first academic journal, the Bulletin [and Journal] of the American Geographical Society until 1915. From 1916 onwards it was continued as the Geographical Review.
