Hardcover / Original half leather with gilt lettering on spine. Good condition in firm binding. Previous owner has cut out the lower part of the frontispiece (image not effected) and also cut out the printer and publishing information on the titlepage. From the library of Daniel Conner (Connerville / Manch House), with the name of a relative (H.L.Conner) to endpaper.

The fold-out map is cleanly torn (now in two parts).
