Original Hardcover (green cloth with gilt lettering and illustration) in protective Mylar. The binding a little scruffy and the Frontispiece nearly detached. Pages 137 cleanly detached and one more illustration also starting to detache. More importantly, the bookblock in firm condition with the endpapers completly in tune with the binding. A very rare and important book in a still collectable and very much acceptable condition.

Very Good condition with some external signs of wear. Minor abrasion to one corner only. All plates and illustrations included as called for. One plate cleanly detached. Binding very firm and strong. Some spotting and occasional staining inside.

Upper hinge damaged with the spine starting to separate. But still in strong and firm shape. Bookblock in excellent condition with beautifully marbled edges. Occasional browning only.
