Unfurling Heavenbound

Acrylic on Canvas. Toronto, 2023. Canvas: 153 cm wide x 92 cm high. ‘Unfurling Heavenbound’ is one of the remarkable recent works of Canadian artist Brooke Palmer. It is the first painting Brooke painted in the series of art he has dedicated for the collaboration with ‘Inanna Modern’. Inanna Modern has invited Brooke to venture into the european art market because his work is exactly what art should be: singular. From conversations with the artist we know that all his latest work is inspired by exactly what the title of this painting promises, an unfurling of new emotions and the excitement for new beginnings, manifested in shapes and colour.

Original 19th century Gouache after an 1870 painting by C. Jäger. German, 1897. Beautifully Framed. Size of frame with Gouache: 53 cm x 65 cm. The Gouache itself measures: 44 cm x 36,5 cm. Outer margins slightly frayed only. Extraordinary painting with some minor repairs. Just like the Beethoven Gouache we also offer by this gifted artist, a very fresh impression of this wonderful musical inspirer.
