The jacket with some larger tear to the rear, some spotting and fraying (childrens drawing on the inside of the jacket).

Excellent condition of the Volume itself with only minor signs of external wear. Unusual in this condition. Tiny blemish to the illustration of rear endpaper. “The Town Mouse” present in the listing of Potter publications on the endpaper, which dates this edition at 1918. The jacket with some minor wear only.
