Crouch”. Original full leather-covered boards. Binding in very poor condition with larger parts of the leather missing. Minor lesions to Frontispice and some papes to front and rear. Extremely rare !

An extraordinary spoof, long undetected as Mary Carbery’s invention and proven by a mention in an advertisement of her works in another of her books (The Farm by Lough Gur).
