This extensive collection of materials, authored by this eminent geologist, was part of the Reference-library of his colleague David (Dave) Naylor. You find a detailed account of the publications at the end of this description. The collection also includes the original offprint of his landmark-publication “Sand Volcanoes on Slumps in the Carboniferous of County Clare, Ireland”, which he authored together with P.H.Kuehnen in 1957.

Interestingly: People in India can see the Himalayas for the first time in ‘decades,’ as the lockdown during the Covid-19-Pandemic eases air pollution. The view in this historical 19th-century-photograph is a reminder of Nature’s need to breath.
