With a beautiful inscription in ink by John George MacCarthy on the halftitle: “Presented to Nicholas Murphy Esq. with the writers best wishes and regards – January 7, 1876”.

Binding still good and firm and text block is solid and square. Some untrimmed pages. Foxing to edges and to endpapers and very occasionally to interior. An extremely scarce publication.
