Hardcover / Original 18th century full leather with original spine-labels and gilt ornament to spine. Both Volumes firm and strong / Leather with stronger wear and some strong abrasions to the boards with some loss to leather. Interior in very good condition with only minor signs of wear. Minor wormhole passages to outer margin of text. Paper in excellent condition. From the library of John & Richard Meade (Ballymartle), with their ownership – signatures to titlepages and a gift-inscription: “Helena Meade to her nephew William Richard Meade – October 3rd, 1837”.

Preached before Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. In Two Volumes.

Hardcover / Original 18th century full leather with original spine-label and gilt lettering. In protective Mylar. Leather with some parts damaged. London, Printed for John Souter, [1821]. Small Octavo. Engraved Frontispiece, IV, 152 pages. Hardcover / Original publisher’s boards with spinelabel. Binding firm but with lower corner of rear board missing. Overall a little stronger rubbed. Endpapers intact. Previous owner’s name in ink on titlepage, dated 1822. From the library of Richard Meade of Ballymartle, County Cork, Ireland, with a gift-inscription to rear pastedown: “the gift of M.J.Meade to H. Meade, April, 27th, 1821”. Frontispiece and text in very good condition. Pages 101 – 108 with clean tears and some paperloss (text not effected from loss). An extremely scarce publication !

In protective Mylar. Binding with some rubbing and minor defects to the leather. Very good condition with only minor signs of wear. Hardcover / Original full calf with original spine-labels and gilt lettering on spine. All three Volumes in protective Mylar. Some rubbing and bumping to binding and top of spines. Volume III repaired but intact and firm. Portrait of Charles Vth in Volume II cleanly detached. All three bindings very firm and tight. Frontispieces and Interior in excellent, bright condition. The Third Edition, corrected and perfected, according to the Authors own Copy and thereby purged from many thousands of Errors, Defects, and Corruptions, which were in arude imperfect Draught formerly Published, as appears in the Preface to the Reader.

London, Printed for M.G. and are to be sold by George Swinnock, at the Crane in Cheap-side, 1675. Folio (20 cm wide x 29,5 cm high). [XIV], 530 pages. Original Hardcover (full 17th century leather) with recently renewed spinelabel. In protective Mylar. Very good condition with only minor signs of wear. Original pastedowns were saved but new pastedowns and endpapers were renewed. Manuscript entry of preowner “William Meade” on rear endpaper: “Ex Libris Guilliellmi Meade”.
