Includes a typescript of a letter by Wolff to Simpson regarding this essay as well as an original letter with Simpsons answer to Wolff. Wolff criticizes Simpson briefly but has also positive things to say – Simpson answers Wolff that he is “supposed to draw up a code of standards for sociologists”. Very interesting document on american sociology !
