Map orientated with north facing to the right. Some very minor traces of spotting near edges. Signs of foxing in top right corner of map. Minor chip and tear near lower left corner of sheet. Centre fold as issued. Latin text on reverse.

Original copper engraved Map / Copper engraving. [London], [Political Magazine / John Bew], c.1780. Beautifully Framed. Size of frame with the two maps on both sides: 47 cm x 50 cm Size of actual maps: 32.5 cm x 29 cm. IMPORTANT: This rare map was cut in half and mounted separately on fold-over-pages. In order to show it accurately we had it framed with glass on both sides (see images of front and back). / Mounted on paper. Tiny closed repair to outer margin. Very good condition with only the faintest signs of browning. From a wonderful collection of Maps from an old english library (South Shields) – with tiny library stamps to the mounting paper (The stamps are NOT on the maps).

Slight staining barely evident near centre of map. Two minor stains to lower margin of map. Very minor tear to top edge and recto fore edge. Trace of foxing to verso edge.

Minor open tear with missing material evident to fore edge. Lower margin running out towards left corner. Centre-fold as issued.
