Hardcover / Original, 18th century half-leather with marbled-paper-covered boards in protective Mylar. Spine slightly discoloured with some cracks and defects but overall the poublication firm and tight, endpapers stabilized. Interior in excellent, bright condition.

With 11 instead of 23 full-page illustrations of which some included are not called for and others seem to have never been part of the collection. Some minor signs of wear only, a few very faint signs of foxing, a little dusty endpapers but especially the text and illustrations all in generally very good or even better condition with some minor signs of wear only.
