Very good condition with only minor signs of external wear. Highly decorated title pages featuring portraits of respective Kings. Gilt top edges and deckled fore and bottom edges. Minor discoloration to endpapers and pastedowns. Main text, print and pages bright and clear. Shakespeare’s Crest on pastedowns. A verse by Hugh Holland printed on the protective tissue for the frontispiece in Henry VIII volume and prose from I.S.M. (From Second Folio) on protective tissue in the Richard II volume.
