Cockling to pages, rubbing to boards. Otherwise in excellent condition. Harry Luke must have taken this very first job at the New York paper shortly after leaving Eton and prior to joining Trinity College. Luke’s scrapbook of articles lets us already see his talent in summarizing events and getting to the point ! The job was clearly based on his father’s connections in New York and Luke must have quickly realized it was not for him !
