Johannesburg, Transvaal Miners’ Association, no year (1912). 7.5 cm x 12 cm. 9 pages / partly stamped and signed off. Hardcover [publisher’s original red cloth] with lettering on front. Very good condition with only minor signs of external wear. Rear board carries label stating “The Owner of this Card is entitled to admisssion to the Trades Hall Club at all Times, and on payment of 6d. may have a Membership Card issued to him.”

Includes, for example, the following: Bye Laws of the Transvaal Miners’ Association / Branch Lodge Rules / Executive Committee and Contributions details etc. Membership due stamps for 1912 present. The names of the senior officials, trustees, and exective member are listed on the back pastedown. Front pastedown carries details of the owner of this card. Member’s Name listed as E. Morgan. Card issued by Block A. 1539 Branch in Randfontein.
