Hardcover [publisher’s original red cloth] with gilt lettering on spine. Very good condition with only minor signs of external wear. Spine slightly faded. Occasional foxing. Interior bright and clean with sharp corners. Binding is solid and square. Front endpaper carries signed inscription from author, “To my friend, W. H. Rowdon – With the Author’s good wishes, Wm. J.W. Roome, Feb. 5. 36.”
