Agenda is one of Britain’s foremost poetry journals. It was founded in 1959 by the poet and critic William Cookson with the help and encouragement of Ezra Pound. Since Cookson’s death in 2003 it has been edited by Patricia McCarthy. This edition incorporates a fiftieth birthday celebration for the Cork-born poet Greg Delanty and includes essays on Delanty’s work as well as poems from contemporaries such as Seamus Heaney, Michael Longley, Leanne O’Sullivan, Billy Collins, Paul Muldoon and others.
