A fine poetic collaboration between two of the finest poets of the urban landscape writing today. Joseph Horgan has won the Patrick Kavanagh Award and has published several other books including The Song at Your Backdoor, he lives in Clonakilty but grew up in Birmingham, England. Owen is from Coventry, heavily bombed in the Second World War, and much of his work explores war and its deadly consequences. In this collection both poets write about the Midlands of England incorporating issues such as immigration, unemployment and loss of identity.
