Mary Turley-McGrath grew up in Mount Talbot on the borders between County Galway and County Roscommon. She now lives in Letterkenny. This book is her first collection and since it was published she has won the Poetry Ireland/Trocaire Competition and her work has appeared in several anthologies and journals.
