Davoren Hanna was born in Dublin in 1975. He published one collection, Not Common Speech (Dublin, Raven Arts Press, 1990). The story of his life and a selection of his poems can be found in The Friendship Tree: The Life and Poems of Davoren Hanna, by his father, Jack Hanna (Dublin, New Island Books, 1996).
