Colette Wittorski is from Normandy and lived with her family in the countryside during the German occupation. She studied philosophy and worked in Paris for some years before moving to Brittany where she lives with her partner, Olivier Danican, a painter and sculptor. Fred Johnston is a novelist, poet and critic from Belfast originally but now living in Galway.
