Ian Harrow was born in Bamburgh, Northumberland, in 1945 and is of Scots-Irish extraction. He was formerly the Head of the School of Art in Lancashire Polytechnic before he took early retirement in 2002. He has published four poetry collections with “Words Take Me” coming out in 2013. He currently lives in York.
