Patricia Ace was born in Cleethorpes, of Welsh-West Indian parentage, and brought up in England, the Middle East and Canada. She studied English and Drama at the Universities of London and Glasgow before settling in rural Perthshire in 1993 to raise a family. Her first full collection, Fabulous Beast, was published by Freight Books in 2013. She lives in Crieff where she teaches yoga in schools and the community. (Scottish Poetry Library).
