Karen is a prize-winning author of both short story and poetry. Originally from Millstreet, Co. Cork she now lives and works in Tralee, Co. Kerry. Karen’s first collection Fingerprints (On Canvas) – Doghouse Books 2005 – was described by Dr. Brendan Kennelly as “a brilliant, humane, memorable book”. Her second collection Between The Lines (Doghouse Books 2011) was featured on the RTE Radio 1 Arts Programme Arena and reviewed by Associate Professor Frances Devlin-Glass as “a stunning collection with no false notes”.
