In May 1894 eight sisters came from Skibbereen Convent to start a convent in Rosscarbery, on the invitation of the then Parish Priest, Fr. Peter Hill. In August that same year, the building of the school started. This book, which commemorates the Centenary, contains a brief history of the development of the Convent and schools and their impact on the local community.
