Hint of browning along centre fold also. Very minor tears to top edge and top right corner. Map orientated to the north. Latin text on reverse.

Original copper engraving (hand-coloured). Cambridge, c. 1710. 41 x 21 cm. Minor lesions to left outer margins. Small defect to left side of the engraving. A stunning example of Blome’s famous Hunting Treats in beautiful handcolouring. Beautifully framed.

Riverium iures, pictum si videris, idem / Hippocrates, librum si mediteris, erit”.
