Lengthy cracks to gutter to between rear pastedowns and endpapers with exposed cloth. Binding tender. Partially loose foxed frontispiece and tissueguard. Textblock still solid. Occasional foxing throughout. Interior unmarked.

Collation: Volume I: 628 pages with 33 hand-coloured plates depicting battle scenes and landscapes / Volume II: 649, (2) pages with 40 (of 44) handcoloured plates and pages 233-240 missing. Hardcover / Volume I in a modern half-buckram with private spine-label / Volume II in its original half-leather binding. Good condition with signs of external wear. One Volume with crack to gutter between front pastedown and gutter. Loose leaf near front. Binding still firm and strong but tender near very front. Interior bright and unmarked with occasional foxing.
