Von grosser Seltenheit ! Die Erfindung des Stethoskop’s hier das erste Mal in deutscher Ausgabe mit allen Falttafeln. Aussergewöhnlich gut erhaltene Ausgabe. Auch die reizvollen Falttafeln erstklassig erhalten. Der sehr saubere Buchblock nur mit einigen Stockfleckchen zu Beginn des Bandes. Das rot getönte Maroquin wunderbar im Einklang mit dem original geröteten Schnitt. Some staining to endpaper and edge, leading into the outer margins of some pages. Text and illustrations not affected. While the staining is not pretty, this is one of the rare occasions to acquire one of the scarcer signed items from Seamus Heaney (1 of 25 copies from an edition of only 100 signed copies).
