The Paris Psalter and the Meters of Boethius.
New York, Columbia University, 1961. LV, 239 pages. Original Hardcover. Binding a little rubbed but otherwise in excellent condition with only minor signs of external wear. Inside clean with no markings. Anglo-Saxon poetic records.
Another Krapp edited volume of the Anglo saxon poetic records which follows the same standard pattern of the other volumes by giving an introduction, the Old English text with modern punctuation and then commentarial notes.
The Paris psalter contains Old English versions of the biblical Psalms. The Metres of Boethius is the so called Alfredian translation of Boethius’ Consolation of philosophy. This edition only includes the verse sections and omits the prose but you still get the sections on Gothic history and the Wayland digression. (Goodreads review)
