Original Hardcover in protective collector’s Mylar. Brown textured cloth-covered boards, Gilt embossed lettering & clear embossed decoration on spine. Gilt & clear embossed decoration on front cover. Clear embossed identical decoration on back cover. All edges gilt. Besides a faded dampstain to the upper edge of the plates in very good condition with only minor signs of external wear. Cover and spine slightly discoloured. Binding slightly shaky. Contains previous owners name stamped in ink to front pastedown and endpaper. Contains ‘The Museum of Natural History’ original label on front endpaper.
