Secretary of State for the Colonies 1954-59”): “My Dear Harry, I hoped that our paths would have crossed since my letter to you nearly a year ago……” (plus in manuscript hand added: “I often think of you my dear Friend – Your Ever Alan” 16th February 1961)].
