Hardcover / Modern, recent, very decorative half leather with marbled-paper-covered boards and new endpapers. Gilt lettering on new spine-label. Protective Mylar. Very good condition with only minor signs of wear. The paper with some staining and some annotations made in the mid 19th century in ink. Former owner was one Thomas Teeling from Wigan, with his ownership entry and a comment about a Mr.John Young having dated the book the first day of November, 1841 in Wgan, Lancashire. Longer entry by Mr. John Young in the rear of the book on two endpapers.
