Chiara Frugoni is a noted Italian historian of medieval society history. She was born in Pisa in 1940 and is the daughter of Arsenio Frugoni who was also a historian of the same period. This book is not a comprehensive list of all the inventions of the Middle Ages, but is a tribute to some of the improvements made then which still affect us today.
