Margaret was an artist, botanist and conservationist who made fifteen seperate journies into the Amazon from just as the clearing of the forests began in the middle of the last century and documenting the changes up until her untimely death in the late 80s. Beautiful drawings of both the flora and fauna she saw on her expeditions make this book both informative and delightful.
