Very good condition with some minor signs of wear only to the edges and two tiny lesions to the titlepage of the first Volume. Faded dampstain to some pages of the lower bookblock of Volume II. While the bookblock is generally used and has the occasional very faint stain and a minor tear to a page, the set is in very good or even better condition ! Extremely scarce !

Name of Richard Meade of Ballymartle on titlepage of both Volumes. Minor lesion and tear to titlepage of Volume II. Overall very good ! Extremely scarce publication in first or second edition !

Original, very decorative half – leather with gilt lettering on spine and original spine-labels. All Volumes from the library of a “Robert Barker”, with his Exlibris. Minor signs of wear only. All Volumes with some slight foxing and very few with a faded dampstain but all Volumes also firm and in very good or even better condition with some minor signs of wear only. Excellent paper and typography. A wonderful reading experience of classics like Ivanhoe.
