Victoria or Port Phillip with Vignettes and illustrations of Aborigines fighting, Kangaroo, a beautiful engraving of Port Phillip and its harbour. The map shows in beautiful, hand-coloured borders the old division of Victoria into Howe, Combermere, Bruce, Haddington, Douro, Mornington, Frant, Bourke, Dalhousie, Rodney, Murray, Anglesey, Polworth, Grenville, Ripon, Hampden, Heytesbury, Villier, Dundas, NormanbyFollet, Wimmera, Western Port.

Original copper engraved map. [Paris], c. 1700. 16 cm wide x 13.2 cm high. Mounted on paper. Very good condition. From a wonderful collection of Maps from an old english library (South Shields) – with a tiny library stamp to the mounting paper (The stamp is NOT on the Map).

Original copper engraving. [Paris], c. 1780. 27.6 cm x 23 cm. Mounted on paper. Very good condition with only a faint dampstain to the lower left side. With an additional diagram mounted verso: “Equinoxe d’Automne dans ce Siecle” / “Equinoxe d’Automne du temps d’Hipparque” / “Equinoxe du Printems du Temps d’Hipparque” etc.
